This course provides an overview of medication administration for staff and caregivers working in group home and residential treatment settings. The courses focuses on 4 main areas of content:

1) Legislative Requirements and Best Practice Approaches
2) Medication Rights
3) Medication Handling (including storage, dispensing and disposal)
4) Proper Documentation and Reporting.

The training should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. You will be required to complete a small quiz at the end of the course to obtain your certificate of completion.

You can only access the final test once the main content has been viewed completely. Feel free to work at your own pace and start and stop as often as you like. If you need to log-out of the session, you'll be prompted to start from where you last ended the next time you log-in to a specific module. Each time you complete a section, simply click on the next section in the drop down menu located at the top right of the screen, or click the continue button at the bottom center of your screen.
